AbstractOver bed tables are used worldwide to help disable or injured patience but the most of the available products does not meet the basic standards of ergonomics .Nowadays when designing a human control product the ergonomic standards should be satisfied to make a product which will not harm the user. This project was conducted to develop a new ergonomic overbred table for patients which will be useful to get a better recovery and which will be helpful for users as the way they expect. During the first phase of the project survey was conducted among hospital patients to identify the customer need. A QFD was then developed to finalize the features the features to be included in the table. In the second phase Anthropometric data of Thai population was collected and the designs were made to meet the customer requirements then. During the third phase table was manufactured to suite all measurements. During the final stage the CAD designs was modeled and was designed for ergonomic factors by use of the JACK simulation software to identify the ergonomic standards of the over bed table. Hope this development will be useful in the future products made for disable patients
