| Abstract | The aim of this special study was to focus on quality management in construction project (design and construction stages) of Afghanistan. The scope of this study was limited in Afghanistan. Qualitative research method was applied in this study in order to achieve the objectives of this special study. There were two objectives in this special study. The first objective of this special study focuses on theory of quality Management system applied in design company, quality management in design (systematic design requirement identification until completion), quality management system applied in construction company and quality Management in Construction (systematic quality management activities in construction stage). This theories has taken from books related the quality and journal. The second objective focused on quality management application and practices in construction projects in Afghanistan. For reaching to this objective a case study was selected from Afghanistan. The quality control organization, quality manager responsibilities, product comprehensions have tried to analyze. Finally the fundings from the case study has compared with the actual theory in Afghanistan. And for improvement of quality management in Afghanistan construction industry recommended to further study that conducts the advantages and disadvantages of quality management system in construction project for Afghanistan. |
