| Abstract | Construction project is always at the central core of a country’s economy. This is particularly true for developing countries like Vietnam, where construction is expected to play as one of the main driving forces for many other industries to grow. Construction management is hence a critical requirement for a successful economy development, which demands professionals to amass extensive knowledge in this field, especially in contract management.Contract management is one of the crucial technical factors that lead to the success of a construction project. The project manager needs to comprehend project’s scope and requirement to produce a detailed and tight contract, whereas the project engineer is expected to understand the contract management skill with a clear understanding of project’s scope and contractual obligations. This report will address typical challenges in contract management and propose the solution to them, in the effort of sharpening contract management skills for our potential project engineers. |
