AbstractFor a successful adverting project, good implementation of project managemen t functions is required first and very important. In Vietnam today, many companies in state and private sectors have right to do advertising shows for their products. Most of them have establish ed a project management unit to directly plan and manage project s in accord ance with the law s and regulations of Vietnam. My report is to review some project management theory, management functions commonly applied in outdoor billboard advertising in Vietnam, to study the project management functions according to the laws and regulation s of Vietnam. The report studies a kind of adverting project management in Vietnam; identif ies and analyze s the practical application of project management functions. The report then shows the strengths, weaknesses of the current practi ces and suggests improvements for the case study and for other similar projects .
