AbstractSupervision consultant work is an important part of construction quality management operations. The projects can be ensured about quality or not are depended heavily on super vision Consultant Engineers. They represent the clientsto supervise all construction activities, confirm construction methods, volumes, quality have done by contractors from begin until the end. However, the number ofthe supervision consultancy in present are quite a lot but lack of quantity and quality, qualified experts incompared with actual demand. Besides, the consultancy management in the local country is in a dequated. In some projects, Engineers are considered as employees that hired by the client. Insome cases, some of Engineers connive with contractors that led to poor quality project. Besides, most of supervision consultancy enterprises that have only director and accounting manager, the whole remain are hired or collected weak Engineers whom were dismissed by other consulting firms. When the project completed, if some problems happened, these engineers or companies will like"birds" that we do not know where to find. In addition, consulting enterprises also need to add some of remuneration for engineers who are working well... etc...With some reasons presented above, this thesis aims to study the risk factors impact to the Supervision Consultancy in Vietnam Construction Project and it has been applied in a case study of Can Tho Urban Upgrading Project.
