| Abstract | Communication management is one of the nine knowledge areas that can be found i n the Project Management Institute’s A guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge. This is a really tough challenge and time - consuming task to any project manager. The large scale construction projects require efficient interaction and coordination of multiple stakeholders during the entire life cycle of the project and hence the role of effective communication management is crucial in enhancing project performance. Unfortunately, there are not many project managers or site managers in Vietnamese con tractors being aware of its importance. This final project report focuses on construction communication management between the main contractor and subcontractors, the owner... as external communication and within the main contractor organization as internal communication. By reviewing many researches o f many authors, various knowledge on communication management will be explored gradually. Through a case study of condominium project in Ha Noi City, communication problems which affect the success of the projec t will be discovered and analyzed. In order to help project managers improving communication issue in construction project, some recommendations based on the reviewed knowledge will be proposed. |
