Abstract | Recently, there are many contractors companies that are fast developing because of potential construction market in Vietnam. Most of them operate with the poor project management plan and this is main reason that causes of growth down after five to ten years. The inaccurate project planning is due to limited time for preparation, unskilled planning engineers or lack of framework in project management system of company. For these causes above, projects usually face to the obstacles relevant to the delayed schedule, cost overrun, variance ordering. Therefore, planning is the most important stage to preliminarily ensure the successful project. Basing on the captioned subject, the report studies the schedule and resource planning in chapter two. Moreover, the information flow modeling is applied to describe the steps of planning development. In the chapter three, the case study conducts to ECOBA JSC in term of develop schedule and resource plan by mapping. Starting point from the clarification of business model, project management is developed into the four stages such as initial part, planning, constructing, monitoring and controlling. Project planning is focused on to the scheduling and resourcing and how to manage project following to the plan tightly. The information flow diagram of the project schedule and resource planning is clear responsibilities of project team members. All staffs of overhead or site team can easily understand the project objectives and deliverables required. Furthermore, the modeling can support manager monitoring and controlling effectiveness through the quick decision making. The study clarifies the point of views and how to develop the schedule and resource planning model of the realistic company. |
