| Abstract | In the recent years, Vietnam is under development of industrial field. There are many industrial construction projects being invested and implemented such as oil refineries, thermal power plant , fertilizer – gas power plant, and petrochemical plant ... called process plants. The favorite contract model of this kind of projects is EPC Management Contract with lump sum payment method. Besides of many aspects of management such as cost and financial , planning and control, legal and contractual, safety and health, etc, quality management is one of the most important during implementing the projects. By this report, I would like to discuss about the quality management theories and the practices of owner in an EPC process plant project from the beginning as the detail design stage to the final acceptance date. This report will also analyze to find the owner’s quality management issues and suggest some solut ions to improve, and a framework as reference for the owner’s quality management. |
