| Abstract | Subcontractors keep the key role in most of construction projects. The success of building dependson capacity of subcontractors. Actually, there are many construction projects fail and delay cause unclear condition in the agreement between general contractor and subcontractor. Through the signed contract, the rights and obligation of two parties will be identified clearly and protected by legal law. The commitment of subcontractor with main contractor also is commitment of main contractor to project client. At large scale projects, most of specialwork subcontractors are selected very carefully and strictly. Normally, they are expert in their field. Hence, studying some conditionsin subcontract is very useful to protect their interest from most of risks which are transferred by general contractor.This report is concerning on actual subcontract condition in the finishing work, implemented at RMIT university project in 2010 –2012. The studying just reflects at subcontract conditions factor, besidesalso applying the subcontractor’s theory which relating to subcontract; to analyze strength, weakness of the real project. Then the student proposed the recommendation, framework for next project. |
