Abstract | Recent years, industry projects are developing quickly in Vietnam so that the needs of knowledge of professional project ma nagement are very necessary. With large scale and sophisticated of petrochemical project, the need of knowledge of applying the proven principles and methodologies of modern EPC project management techniques are importance than ever. Number of task and restrain relationship among them is significant increase. In practical, many petrochemical project delay and cost overrun, so that schedule planning and control is one of the factors that project managers have a lot of interest. By observing and analyzing the implementation of EPC project schedule planning and control, the cause of schedule delay and cost overrun are lack of attitude toward modern EPC project management knowledge of Vietnamese project manager. Thus, showing the benefit of the standard schedule planning and control and intergrading deeply it to the project organization make the project easier to manage and more successful. |
