| Abstract | The research mentions on developing Quality Management System (QMS) for a small and medium consultant company, in which key issues of the QMS for the company are considered in context of Saigon Weico – a case study company. For input data of the rese arch, different source of data including the existing company quality management system, project documents, construction books, newspapers, construction law, and local standards were collected. In relating, factors that are most effect to design quality we re also mentioned in the research. Main target of the research is proposal of key features to developing QMS following ISO 9001for a case study company after review its practices. As a result of the study, firstly a quality management system of typical co nsultant woks needs to be established, then how to implement and operate effectively the QMS is a next consideration. Finally, improvement process for the QMS is necessary to apply during the operation. Keep the mentioned QMS be smoothly operated may hel p the design consultant to control his output quality product to meet customer’s requirements.
