Abstract | The objective of the study is to understand the current recruitment process at MEPCO. In this research study , expert reviews are conducted with six (6) MEPCO officials in order to have in - depth understanding about the curre nt recruitment practices followed at MEPCO . As per following the first methodology step , deficiencies are encountered in the current recruitment process at MEPCO which becomes input for the second step. In the second step, recommendations have been given for each deficiency encountered. The recommendations ha ve been given by following best human resource management practices. The propose d recommendations provide guidelines to policy makers and practitioners in order to improve the current recruitment practices at MEPCO. As observed by various experts; t he domin ating aspect to improve recruitment pro cess is to bring recruitment process online in order to make recruitment pr ocess transparent and efficient. |
