Abstract | This report is the final project submitted in the partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Business Administration in International Business at School of Management, Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok This report aims to rank European utility companies across various parameters and also analyzes the strategies of the companies in the present competitive scenario. We start the project by researching the installed capacity, power generation and renewable figures of the companies and then go on to analyze the rankings. Again, on the basis of this, we try to understand the strategies that the players are following and envisage the future possible trends. Models, graphs and tables have been used to present the analysis. Finally, we try to deduce the behaviors of the companies. Data gathering was mainly based on available secondary data in the form of annual reports of the utility companies in Europe and internal Capgemini research publications. For informations that were not available, employees within the companies were directly contacted. |
