Abstract | “Intelligent recruitment software-Universe” is the main product of the company Comentor A/S and the software encompasses CV management and Pre-employment recruitment test as its mainattributes. With the product in hand, the company has two major problems: How to gauge and enter the Asian market and what should be the entry strategy for asuccessful market penetration? What should be an appropriate business model to internationalize the product “Universe” in the Asian market? This project aims at solving these two problems by conducting market research for an entrystrategy and analysis and creating a business model for internationalization of the software. Forthis purpose, a detail analysis on the selected Asian country was done by doing research on fourmain areas: Industry, Target market, Competitors and an appropriate mode of entry. The empirical research was advanced by the further analysis of each areas and was made a basisfor SWOT analysis. The main outcome of this report is an appropriate internationalization modelfor the software business in two countries namely, India and Malaysia.Due to the time and resource constraints, the research has been spotlighted on only two Asiancountries and has focused on major market issues. The project can be further progressed with thespecific customer research by conducting need and unmet need analysis. The whole research and analysis was based on recent data available in internet and the report wasprepared in reference to these material and few textbooks. |
