| Abstract | This report project is concerned with an Internship that I carried out last summer in the Bank of Cyprus in Athens, and more particularly in the Investments division. During my internship, I rotated through the different departments of the division, and the purpose of this was both to get an insight of how each particular department works, as well as observe the processes and effectiveness of each subsequent department from a managerial point of view. The report is firmly divided into three chapters, each one dealing with a different perspective of the internship. Firstly, a company analysis will be made, concentrating more on the particular division and taking into account the operating environment. The second chapter will involve a description of the work that was done, why it was undertaken, how it was done and finally the outcome results and conclusion. It will also include an introductory one page Executive Summary which will in essence serve as a professional management report. Lastly, the third and final chapter will deal with my personal development and lessons learnt throughout the process of carrying out the internship, starting from job hunting to execution. |
