This paper in reference to Taylor Cowen’s book “The Great Stagnation”, aims to reflect on how America lost its economic prosperity and how it can emerge back as the most powerful nation in the world. In addition, the main aim of the paper is to analyze the macroeconomic policy, focused purposely on fiscal policy, how it went on to become a major fiscal crisis and finally in reference to David Walker’s book “Comeback America” state the fiscal responsibilities of the nation and the citizen to uplift America back. |
