Abstract | Thanks to the economic development facilitated through globalization, standard of living has been improving in developing countries, which in turn increases the demand for qualified meat products that have high - income elasticity in this market. Being one of Thailand's major players in the meat products market, Betagro Group , is betting on positive economic development and higher meat consumption in the region and has already started the process of internationalization . The company has therefore accumulated valuable experience, knowledge, financial strength and brand recognition that can be applied in their quest for further expansion. However, accumulating all these corporate assets does not ensure a success for Betagro if no business capability is determined and agreed within Corporate. Therefore, in order to maintain sustainable growth in this competitive market, Betagro has to have strategic business capability model. This report analyzes the development of Business Capability Model for the food business unit of Betagro Group in order to find core competitive capabilities, which maintain their stable performance in long run. |
