Abstract | ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY (AEC) – 2015, the very first day to become one community in ASEAN region is approaching. It creates the chance for ASEAN countries to take advantages of its policy to expand their business within the region . Among them , Vietnam is one of potential market in the area and invest in Vietnam is a desirability for developed countries, i.e. Thailand. This paper aimed to provide the key issues in AEC, help equip the reader with important and understandable information in this event. Moreover, this paper analyzed intensively on the Vietnam retail market, pointed out the opportunities and challenge when Thai companies want to expand their business in this market. In addition, the paper did concentrate to the case of Berli Jucker PCL (BJC) to examine their entry strategies as well as give helpful suggestion s for BJC’s penetration further in Vietnam retail market. |
