Abstract | It always makes people wonder why the population of Chinese students in Asian Institute of Technology is relatively small. China, the country that has the biggest population in the world, have already became the biggest supplier of oversea students in past few years and Chinese students has the biggest population in Thailand in terms of foreign students. Moreover, there are more than 1000 Chinese students in Assumption University (Thailand) , which has largest number of foreign students in Thailand, and more than 600 Chinese studying at Dhurakij Pandit University . On the contrary, there are only 23 Chinese students in AIT. The huge distinguish between AIT and these two universities in terms of number s of Chinese students lead to confusion. According to the reputation of AIT in China and capacity of AIT, author states the present of situation is because of AIT’s inappropriate promoting technique. This study is to survey the reasons behind appearance in promoting aspect. Through questionnaire survey to Chinese students in Assumption University (Thailand) and Dhurakij Pandit University and statistical analysis, efficiency method and platform to promote AIT and Chinese students’ preference and behavior of choosing university can be addressed. |
