AbstractThe importance of urban rivers has always been recognized for water resources, protection of nature, fisheries. In addition, rivers have certain definite environmental, social, cultural and economic values, as well. Together with the process of urbanization, the exploitation and management of urban space especially urban space along the river is issue that need to must be considered and studied. Many strategies solution have been given to exploit and manage urban space along the river, but solution enhancing green space along the river is one of the solutions to bring the most efficient. Furthermore it is also a strategic solution to help for local governments effectively manage urban green space to towards the common goal that is green-friendly city. Along with the development of Duong Dong town, increase public green space to improve the QOL for people is valid strategies for improving the management of urban space because it can create the regulatory framework for local government and changing attitudes and perceptions of people in the conservation and development of natural elements such as trees and surface water in their city, so this solution will significantly improve the quality of life for residents and contribute to the development of tourism of the city. Moreover, strategy enhance green space is long-term policy, so choosing and evaluation of solution need cooperation from the local government and people to implement this strategy. The outcome of this study is useful for related agencies and the other local authorities to utilize the restore of landscape the river to enhance quality of life for people and manage effect for urban green space along river.
