| Abstract | Water resource is the major component of life, determining the success of the planning strategies, plans for socio-economic development, national security and defense. Currently, this precious and important natural resource is facing the danger of pollution and depletion. The risk of water shortage, especially clean water, is the major threat to the survival of humans and entire living creatures on earth. Therefore, people need to take measures to protect and improve the rational use of the water resource.Currently, many propaganda activities, socialization work and policies, implementation of water resources improvement and protection... have raised plenty of measures to call the society members to enhance the sense, study the causes and propose the reasonable solutions for the improvement and protection of the water resource. This is an urgent task. It not only meets the immediate needs but also creates a solid foundation for the protection of the natural resources and environment in the long term because it is our survival and also our next generations.For Cho Moi District, determining the causes of water pollution and recommending solutions to reduce it in the locality are more urgent issues than ever since water pollution tends to increase. This is an important milestone in the improving the people's living environment and increasing the diversity and protection of natural landscapes.In Cho Moi District, An Giang province, river water and the entire water network have been main sources of economic development, social and cultural significance for centuries.However, due to many reasons, this source is being polluted and causes lots of bad effects upon people lives in many aspects.This research ties to understand the causes and of the water pollution in this area and from that proposes possible solution to help improve the situating. |
