Abstract | The research study has studied systematically and comprehensively the issues: the unique characteristics of the peri-urban area of Hanoi in the process of urbanization; situation of urban solid waste management...the socialization models of MSW management;urban planning and development policies;The overview of related researches...there by detect the problem to study;Summarizing the experiences of MSW management in urban and peri-urban areasof the countries that have similar conditions with Vietnam.These are the important the oretical and practical basis to propose the enhancing solutions The research study has studied and specifically proposed the process of collection, sorting, transport and disposal of MSW for different subjects: The general management model of collecting, sorting at source and transporting MSW to final disposal facility; The specific model of MSW management for residential areas of rapid urbanization communes;The MSW management model for residential areas of agricultural communes. The research study has proposed two models of organizational structure of MSW management:(1)The model of organizational structure of district URENCOs;(2)The model of organizational structure of self-government sanitation groups/teams. |
