Abstract | The purpose of this research is to apply data mining theory to a particular clothing business data and find the relationships between products. These relationships can help the owners improve their business. However, an issue is the huge amount of informat ion available and the various forms of storage – causing difficulty in understanding and utilizing the data. Therefore, we deploy information management tools and techniques to manage and analyze the data. A primary goal of this research is to understand t he sales transactional data, in particular, to find patterns in customer purchases. In order to make more effective data analysis, the Apriori algorithm and Weka software were adopted to use. The outcome of the analysis is a deeper understanding of custome r behavior, inter - relationships between products as customers purchase them and f inally, a set of recommendations for the owners to improve their marketing strategy |
