Series Statement
AbstractDinh Vu Industrial Zone (DVIZ) founded in soft soil which has not fully studied so far. The soft soil at DVIZ consists of sandy si lt, silty clay a nd sandy/silty clay with to tal thickness is about 30.0m. By PVD and pre-loading surcharge in a sm all area at DVIZ, the recorded settlement was about 1.1m. Based on recorded settlement, it can be obtained average value of C h is about 14x10 - 4 cm 2 /s. It also can be predicted settlement occurr ed from 1998 when DVIZ filled to 2013 is more than 0.389m.
