Series Statement
AbstractThe Cuu Long basin is known as Tertiary rift basin. In this basin, both Oligocene and Miocene are known as good reservoirs. The hydrocarbon production from clastic reservoir in Miocene and Oligocene is increasing more and more. Consequently, understanding detailed in both Miocene and Oligocene reservoirs are needed in this study. The similarities and differences of petrophysical characteristics between these clastic reservoirs will be investigated. As based on the result, author would like static data analysis from log response. Moreover, some parameters such as porosity, water saturation and permeability are estimated in the both reservoirs. Finally, some recommendations were made in order to help research in the future.
