Abstract | As organizations grow, the number of employees grows to sustain and develop the growth. A growing organization adds people to the payroll every year, thus increasing their human resources. Successful management in any organizations requires an efficiently functioning human resource department. In today world of technology and internet, human resource management is been taking to new levels by integrating human resource management and the internet. A new phenomena termed as e-HRM has developed and is been practiced globally. The growing organization has also learned that it is not able to perform all the HRM functions. Thus the concept of outsourcing has also infiltrated the human resource departments of organizations. This study focuses on understanding e-HRM and HR-Outsourcing strategies practiced in Thailand. HR directors of three large corporations incorporated and operating in Thailand have participated in sharing their objectives, strategies, practices, and development plans in their e-HRM and HR-Outsourcing domain in this research work. Lastly, the study analyses the commonality and differences in the practices of these companies. An after study recommendation is developed in order to help these organizations and others to be able to implement more effective HR strategies. Among many alternatives it can be said that using HR as a strategic partner, developing professionals skills of HR team, creating technology support system for the HRD seems to be the key factor to be considered for an effective HRM |
