Effectiveness of e-learning for learning business

AbstractIn this time is the age of knowledge. The ability to apply the right and modern knowledge eff ectively will become a key success in the next century . Nowadays using information online has increased to commercial world, every office have information collection, storage and shari ng information in organizations and new technology sky drive such as dro pbox or clouds. People change their behavior to concern more on information from internet. The student also pays more attention in E - learning that includes all forms of electronically supporte d learning and teaching. The prominent benefit of E - learning is that student and teacher have not to travel long distances to attend classes at a different location as E - learning can be conducted anywhere in the world. The courses and online degree programs are provide through online learning management systems, internet chart, real - time lectures, skype etc. but E - learning still have many problems. First, there is no f ace - to - face interaction between student and teacher. Second, E - learning requires the expensive equipment so this is the big barrier for far away student or school Finally, E - learning is suitable for new generation who has electronic user skill. Moreover, t he E - learning have much of advantage but there do not have effective measure that can guarantee this method have more effective than the other (Online base study or real instructor) This research focus on effective of E - learning compare with two method to find the suitable way for learning in Thailand. In this research the author examine the result between two methods Real instructor and Online base E - learning and answer the question. Which methods have the most effective for the student? And which kinds of school are suitable for learning? (Public and private University) and examine that IQ and GPA have influence on learning process or not. Exam questionnaire was distributed in four platform of learning by chosen sample 100 people which focus on student f rom 2 university. Thammasat university (Public University) and Bangkok university (Private university) for 50 people from each university and they do both 2 method that can separate to 50 people in each platform Based on the finding of the survey, Most of samples are interested in content but never learn by E - learning before and there have not different in basic exam part but have much different in Advance exam part. Moreover, the exam result do not have significant different between private and public un iversity. In the last GPA does not have influence on the Real instructor method but has influence on the online method and IQ has influence on both methods Recommendation were given to designer of E - learning method and teacher or someone who want to use E - learning method based on the findings of research to find the effective way to improve and use this method. Further areas of studies are also been suggested considering the limitations of this study.
