Abstract | Innovative ideas and creativity among the employees can be the basis for organizational successful performance. We note that leaders are the ones who can boost creativity and increase innovative work behavior in employees by their skills. However, Leadership is considered as a change agent for bringing innovations in the organizations. Thepurposeof this research is to determine the impactof transformationalleadership on innovativework behaviorof bank employeesin large commercial banks of Pakistan.And to determine whethercreative self-efficacymediates the relationship betweeninnovative work behaviorand transformational leadership.The sample of this research comprises of employees and managers workinginlarge commercial banks of Pakistan. A sample of 31 managers and 77 employees were targeted and questionnaires were used as the main instrument for this study. Regression analysis and Pearson Correlation were used for data analysis by using SPSS. Results demonstrateda positive association between transformational leadership and employee innovative work behavior in large commercial banks of Pakistan. And creative self-efficacy mediated the relationship between employee innovative work behavior and transformational leadership. The results also revealed that innovative work behavior of employees can increase when; creative self-efficacy among the employees is high with the influence of transformational leaders |
