AbstractConstruction company need to find the integrated solution to maximize the usageof thecompany’s internal resources and use the market to balance the company’s operation forrunning the projects on hand as well as bidding potential projects. The problem is how theconstruction organizationcanmanage resources systematically in such dynamicenvironment as construction business. For this reason, construction enterprise resourceplanning and control is studied to support the information flow available to all theparticipants within the organization in order to make resource allocation decision in theright time to achieve the integration between projects individually and organization’sobjectives.This research was conducted to fulfill the three objectives. Firstly, identifying the keyresource information affecting the resource planning and control was developed andverified by experts. Secondly, following the key information above, the information flowwas model to find the interaction among the key information. Finally, based on the model,the researcher made the interview with questionnaire to find out the application of themodel in Vietnam construction environment.The result of this study found that from the model which was developed from theory canapply into the real condition of Vietnam construction industry. However, there are somedifficulties to apply all information in the model because there is lack of supporting fromcomputerization and reporting culture. Furthermore,the mis-communication between thecorporate level and project level leads to late response on resource management. But therewill be much potential field for whom to concern in improvement theresourcemanagement.
