Abstract | This research aims to study an effective contract management in Condominium project for Afghanistan. The research methodology of this study was used Qualitative method. In order to achieve the res earch objectives, ten construction projects were selected from Afghanistan . All of data in this study was given by the interviewees through questionnaire. Cross case analysis was implemented in order to find out the practices and problems of contract management and construction project performance in each case study. The result of this study was divided in to four parts. The first part is Contract administration that focused on contract practices from co ntrac t singing up to close out the project. The second and third part is conducted with success and failure factors accomplished in each selected projects. The four part of this research focused on project performance of each case. The researcher mostly conduct ed in time, cost, and quality in this part. Construction project size and complexity, time schedule and budget cost are the parameters that should be careful before contractual activities are adopted. The contract forms are the problems That Afghanista n construction industry suffered with many problems in this regards. They deal by different projects with different conditions. |
