AbstractThe construction industry is a very multiplex and competitivehigh-risk business. Construction projects are managed by contracting parties, all with their own goals and motivations. It is affected with several problems, such as absence of cooperation, inadequate trust, and unproductive communications leading to an argumentative relationship among all project parties. Partnering is perhaps one of the most innovative developments in delivering a project effectively and reducing construction disputes. It can be argued that many significant factors such as mutual trust, commitment, communication, sharing culture, sharing strategy and many others influence the implementation of partnership. Construction companies are sometimes necessary to execute changes at business level related to management, technology, people, and social problems as well as handling many changes at project level. The changes are to be managed to maximize the benefits, reduce the penalties, and confirm that both benefits and panalties are delivered reasonably. Change management becomes simultaneously more important and more difficult for construction companies. It also can be claimed which factors are essential for successful change management.This study was conducted to study the perception of partnership and change management and also examine usingthe approach of change management to implementation of partnership in Myanmar construction industry. The result found that five factors of partnership and six factors of change management according to the mean score values. For next step, the models have been developed using structural equation modeling (SEM) that is related to partnership. The results showed that the models were acceptable fit and partnership highly influences change management. The factors of change management can also related with partnership.
