| Abstract | The effects of contract administration activities using in construction projects in Myanmar on relationship between contractor and owner are focused in this research. The practical contract administration activities are studied at first and then the relationship between these activities and the trust and cooperation between owner and contractor is analyzed. Relationship between owner and contractor is measured in terms of trust and cooperation and the contract administration activities are grouped into 8 groups; risk allocation and responsibility, facility provision and timely work tracking, progress and prompt action, problem solving and decision making, written communication, accuracy of information, risk allocation and report and communication. This study is quantitative research by collecting data from 185 respondents via survey questionnaires in Myanmar and making analysis by factor analysis and multiple regression analysis to fulfill the objectives of the research. According to the finding of the research, it is pointed out that contract administration activities has a significant impact on relationship between owner and contractor. |
