AbstractAdvertisement is one critical component in most businesses. However, the system thatcan generate an advertisement in natural sentences has rarely been explored. Thisthesis involves creating discourses of advertisement in natural language.The study proposes the system along with an example over domain of tourism business.It brings together Ontology, Logic, Argumentation scheme, and Formal Grammar togenerate an advertisement for a hotel. The result of the study shows the possibilityin the automatic advertisement generation system. The system is in a modular designwhich mean that components can be changed without a side-effect to the others com-ponent in the system. The main components are: Properties determiner, DiscourseComposer, and Sentence Generator. These components receive and generate inputand output respectively. The medium between components is a message in the form offirst order formulas. The output of the whole process is a natural, syntactically correctsentence.The result of the study shows the possibility of this kind of system. It can be improvedin various ways and can be developed to explore a way to extraction argumentationfrom natural language.
