| Abstract | The research work is mainly focusing on the development of a web based RecommenderSystem; Thailand Travel Recommender system(TTR); that can assist and facilitate users byrecommending the appropriate travel product e.g. destination, accommodation,restaurantand transportation to them, based on the user’s preference and creating user profile to judgeand recommend according to what user might be interested in. This system will recommendthe tourist, the best and most appropriate travel products by analyzing user profile, user rat-ings and the users history. It also deals with understanding the data mining techniques espe-cially the K-means algorithm for clustering the data which uses Euclidean distance measureto compute the distances between instances and clusters. |
