Abstract | This study addresses the gender - analysis of Clean City Action Plan and creation of jobs in urban tourism in Cambodia. It aims to assess how gender perspective s in the Mini stry of Tourism strategic Clean City Action Plan has been developed and implemented. A special attention would be given to investigate women ‘ s involvement in strateg ic Clean City Action Plan ning process and gender equality in job creation through in this C lean City Action Plans, and the reasons why it has/has not been gender sensitive and how these can be changed . It explores the specific obstacles and facilitating factors in gender integration in these strategies. The gender - analytical framework is being u sed in this research in order to understand the structural and institutional factors that produce and reproduce gender issues in developing and implementing Action Plan and creating employment opportunities. To some extent, potential gender - sensitive activ ities are suggested in each environmental category such as environmental arrangement and management, waste management and green spacing. |
