AbstractThis report intended to examine the policy practices of the organization for the purpose of gender mainstreaming. This paper tried to analyze the strategic action of the organization for implementing the policy; it also explored the obstacles and gap of the organization for accelerating the policy. Here, the study has made a literature review especially focus on two areas. It explained about the operating system of the organizations for promoting gender mainstreaming inside of the working environment as well as it has also explained about the organizational efforts for mainstreaming the gender process. For the data collection it was applied Qualitative techniques (Semi- structure interview, In-depth interview and observation methods). And for analyzing and interrupting the content of observations and interviews it was used the techniques of content analysis, Nvivo software had been used for analyzing the information. Evidence demonstrates that the organization was committed for accelerating the gender policy and it was taken an enormous action for implementing policy. Even there were two more policies for strengthening the activities of gender policy. To do this study it was uncovered some practices of the organization where it specially considered the needs of man and woman. But the organization fails to do it properly as for the working pattern of the organization's itself. Social institutions are perpetuating the gender inequality but organization is paying insufficient attention to this areas. The findings reveal that the number of employees is the challenge for the organization for doing the work perfectly. The findings suggest that for implementing the policy it is important to challenge the organizational norms and practices which are working against the interest of men and women. There is needed to keep attention for proper documentation and monitoring and evaluation of work.
