AbstractMANEMO is a concept of combing MANET and NEMO protocols that is attracting a lot of attention in vehicular communication network and post disaster emergency network. Velocity is one of the factors which should be taken into account for the performance of the network. When mobile node is moved with the various speeds, the performance of MANEMO decreased. In this work, protocol TDP and NINA are used to provide routing function in MANEMO system. In order to analyze the effect of the speed on MANEMO, network parameters such as throughput, end to end delay and packet loss are measured through field experiment. Based on these measured results, the new procedure called E model is proposed to evaluate the maximum speed of the vehicle in MANEMO while sustain the call quality at the acceptable level
