AbstractViolence against children, women and domestic violence are main public health and human right problems throughout the world. In order to come up with prevention and protection plans for social problems, policy planners or decision makers need to understand the nature and severity of the problems. Good information should be able to tell policy planners or decision makers the situation of the domestic violence, and should be able to present real numbers of domestic violence victim, the cause of the problem and others violence indicators that help them plan the national plan. In this thesis, the problems with Thailand current domestic violence information systems had been identified which were: lack of centralized infOlmation system, out-of-date violence indicators, and inefficient reports. The study also identified relationship between policy and infom1ation system and changes in violence through quantitative analysis of the historical data and qualitative analysis through interviews. The result from the study was model for centralized domestic violence information system for Thailand which can be used for other social problem information system as well
