AbstractThe develo pment of arm exoskeleton with force feedback system had been researched for decades and in many countries such as England, France, Italy, Japan, Thailand, and USA . In the thesis, the development of the arm exoskeleto n structure with the force feedback system for Virtual Reality (VR) is presented . The arm exoskeleton has six D egrees of F reedom ( 6 - DOF s ) and be controlled by a Personal Computer (PC) through a 7 channel, 8 bit D/A/ D board . The sensors and act uators of the arm exoskeleton are potentiometers and DC motors. Six potentiometers will turn following the six joints to measure their current angles. When it has force feedback, the torques on the joints of arm will be actuated . The control program in the PC is comple ted by using Matlab software. The experimental results show that the force feedback arm exoskeleton for VR works really .
