AbstractA ball on plate is one of the challenging control problems . In this thesis, the ball on plate is constructed using touchscreen sensor and two servomotors for actuate the plate angle as designing for two degrees of freedom. This system call ed “ball - on - touchscreen” is deve loped and implemented f rom four - bar linkage conception. The control algorithm is using the dual control loop with a motion controller named PMD motion control at an inner loop and processing an outer loop for feedback ball position loop on C# application. The proposed of this thesis is developed the system on a motion controller which is m ostly used for high precision position control . This system modeling acts like a linearized function only for small motion at the equilibrium point , center of the touch sc reen .
