AbstractThis research project aims at the establishment of a multivariate control chart which can help monitor and control a process for ammonia unit at PhuMy fertilizer plant in Vietnam. In this project, data related to various correlated process parameters that have impact on process quality were firstly collected. A multivar iate control chart was developed based on Hotelling’ 2 T statistic. Out-of-control signals in the past were then analyzed followed by some concluding remarks and recommendations.
