Abstract | This thesis will study environmental impact with respect to carbon footprint of wooden furniture production over cradle to gate life cycle assessment concept. One case study about wooden chair production will be studied for the development in term of furniture production with respect to the carbon footprint released. In parallel, SimaPro software was adopted to analyze and assess the amount of carbon footprint. The functional units or object of the study was a finished goods product which equal to 1 wooden chair (package included). In this study, there are three scenarios with the real experiment about making wooden chair from Top World factory. Begin study the production problem with respect to carbon footprint on the original production step. Then, perform other two scenarios which are the better production step with respect to carbon footprint. Moreover for the reliability of the data, in this study use the uncertainty analysis to authenticthe LCI database. |
