Abstract | In this research, a Pan -Tilt head positioning system algorithm for thermal and CCD dual sensors has been developed and experimented. The algorithm is composed of image capturing from an USB camera, human detection, noise removal and image displaying on MINI2440 and computer. The outputs are pulse width modulation and direction for panning and tilting motors. In the building, the system can detect the human with human detection algorithm by Open CV and calculate the center location of human. The Pan - Tilt prototype was developed for installed on building and vehicle. The controlled mechanism can track a human at 3 -10 meter and it can control panning rotation and tilting rotation to keep the human in the center of the scenes. |
