AbstractTo monitor, control, and improve almost processing, control charts, also known as process -behaviour charts, are used as the effective and useful tools in quality control. Almost chemical processes usually operate continuously and a variety of parameters as temperature, pressure and flow rate, etc, are correlated to each other. Therefore, constructing multivariate control charts for individual observations is necessary to monitor and control these chemical processes. This thesis researcher endeavored to establish a multivariate control chart to monitor and control a process for ammonia unit at Phu My fertilizer plant in Vietnam. This thesis would collect the data relating to various correlated process parameters that have effect on process quality, build a multivariate control chart based on MEWMA statistic, analyze out-off con trol chart signals. Finally, some concluding remarks and recommendations were presented.
