AbstractIn this research, basic replenishment cycle time and basic delivery cycle time concepts are introduced for multiple suppliers, multiple warehouses and multiple retailers system. The individual cost functions are first formulated by using integer multiple coordination mechanism and then extended to integer powers of two coordination mechanism. The concepts like, shared transportation and shared warehouses are implemented by using joint replenishment ( at warehouses ) and joint delivery ( from warehouses to retailers ) model in order to increase the overall performance of the supply chain . A mathematical model is also developed for the over all cost function by using joint replenishment and joint delivery technique, which is then solved in LINGO in order to minimize the total supply chain cost. Furthermore, sensitivity analysis is conducted in order to find out the behavior of objective function by changing the values of the input parameters.
