Abstract | An abstract of the thesis of Wuttinan Sereethavekul for the Master of Engineering in Microelectronics and Embedded System presented on May 9, 2013. Title: The Design of a Wristband Screen Application for Interface with Android Systems Smartphone has overcome human life very quickly at this moment since Android was introduced to the world in April 2009. Android is very popularly used since that time. Because of being a smartphone, people can make use of it in vary ways. It can be used as a cellphone, a media player, an internet browser or even a gaming console. It makes people life easier by having it. The Design of Wristband Screen for Android is espe- cially made for getting more accessibility in using Android devices, for instance, view or control a device from a distance. Wristband Screen for Android helps users to keep in touch with their Android devices all the time while those Android devices may be lying down inside a pocket or a backpack. The Wristband Screen for Android itself displays the exact screen of an Android device and users can control their devices from this screen as well. In order to make this done, both units ( Wristband Screen for Android /Android device) must have a Wi-Fi module to be used as a medium in communicating between them. Also, Android device must have a root access in order to be controlled remotely. The Design of a Wristband Screen Application for Interface with Android Systems is a part of Android software development. This article/thesis research does not contained any hardware design due to limited budget and time. Only two Android phones are needed in this project plus some additional experimented Android phones were used. The propose of the thesis is to develop an Android application that will be used on Wristband Screen for Android unit and Android devices. This article was created on Latex using Gummi Latex Editor and Texmaker. |
