The majority of people in this study area are poor. Hence, people can not buy kerosene for cooking. They need fuelwood for daily activities as cooking and boil water. Sources of fuelwood are come from forest community, cultivation forest, ulayat forest, gardens, homesteads, production forest and a few of people taken fuelwood from protected forest. Even, some of them taken fuelwood from the protected forest they only taken part of the trees such as braches and stem. They did not cut trees. Mostly people in study areas are farmers. Some of them do not have land for paddy field. They did labor and merchants. In the ulayat nagari and forest community some of people have a rubber plantation. For secondary source income they are doing extract of latex. For agriculture sectors, this area is needed to irrigation system. There are some of big rivers that could useful for agriculture. From tourism can create new industry is important for source income for government and local people through involves them. Understanding people perception to protected forest is important to get clear what people thought about protected areas. Based on that information can be based line to determine of new strategy for management forestry which involves people in the decision maker. So that, implementation of the program is quite easy and local people is accepted with that program. Likewise, people interaction to the forest is needed to see in the widely ways.
