AbstractThis thesis presents the mini mobile production platforms for green and marginal field in Gulf of Thailand. The design practices are included . The costs are resulted which are alternative option beside the traditional wellhead platform . The m obility, r eusable and repeatable operation in further locations are mainly purposed. There are 2 groups in design accounting for self - floatation and none - floatation which can be operated in 15m, 25, and 35m. The case studies are total 6 models. The 1 - year and 50 - ye ar return period are taken as inplace design criteria for platform operating and extreme storm conditions respectively. Offshore transportation analyses are included. Moreover, ballast and stability are designed as Naval Architect consideration. The resul ts show that theses 5 platform design s can use in to Gulf of Thailand in specific field where water depths are not over 35 meter. The 3 rd model (self - floatation) is not applicable due to failure in transportation analysis . The 6 th model is the most suitabl e platform. The cost is cheaper than the traditional wellhead platform.
