Abstract | Myanmar is considering LNG as option for the future energy demand. Focusing on gas import options related to LNG, which could initially be used as a bridging fuel while new gas exploration gets underway in Myanmar. LNG storage tank installation is one of the costly projects in Oil and Gas industry. It has a lot of challenges, so it needs to be well planned and scheduled before the project is actually performed in site.The purpose of this study is to identify the problems related with project time delays inLNG Storage Tank Roof Installation process, predict the probability of delay hours and prepare the risk response plan. Once causes of delays are identified, data collection would be the first step to be done to decide the suitable distribution based on how much data available which will be used as input variables in probabilistic model. Then, Monte Carlo simulation would be used to predict the probability of occurring delay and delay hours. After that, the practical response plan for the delay would be provided for different types of delays.Furthermore, the results are evaluated both deterministic and probabilistic method and compare which method is better to set up time schedule in conclusion. |
