AbstractThis research is carried out to find the effect of various material such as flyash, limestone powder, water, sand on the fresh properties (flowtime, minislump flow, setting time) and hardened properties (compressive strength of grout, preplaced aggregate concrete and splitting tensile) of preplaced aggregate concrete. Two level full factorial model ( 2? ) with ceneter points is selected for analysis where k is the factors considered. The rate of superplasticizer (viscocrete 10) is kept constant 0.3% by wt. of binder. The total number of experiment to perform is 33 and the obtained result analysis of the result is done using software Minitab17. Results obtained showed that sand reduces the workability of the grout and other factors like flyash, limestone powder and water increased the workability. There was no bleeding in any of the mix. The compressive strength of PAC ranged from 26 MPa to 42 MPa and limestone powder affects the most on PAC compressive strength. The compressive strength of PAC is higher when the flyash replacement is upto 30% and the limestone powder is around 15%. The splitting tensile ranges between 2 to 3.88 MPa and splitting tensile which is comparable to tensile strength of normal concrete. Some mix proportion are also proposed which could be used further.
